I actually am habitual of doing a lot of research before buying any makeup product, same was the case with this lipstick. Being a fan of pink lip colours, I have quite a few pink shades in my collection including nude pinks, coral pinks, peachy pinks and mauve pinks. Few months back I was watching a video on YouTube where a beauty guru showed Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Fruit Punch and described it as a true full on pink shade, I added this lipstick in my wishlist instantly. Finding it in Pakistan was a little difficult, but after few weeks Beauty Arena stocked Milani Cosmetics and I ordered this gold beauty right away!

One of the many online reviews that I read of these lipsticks before ordering one compared them to Tom Ford Lipsticks, that's why I had very high hopes before trying this on me. Fortunately this product didn't disappoint me. Fruit Punch is a very pretty pink colour with cream finish. On my lips it appears a little more vibrant than what you will see in the swatches below, for some reasons camera couldn't capture all the happiness and vibrancy of this gorgeous shade. The formula of this particular shade of Milani Color Statement Lipstick is quite moisturizing, although it claims a cream finish, which is true to some extent but on my lips this turns into a semi matte finish after an hour or so. For me this is a positive point since I don't like when my hair touches my lips and smears all lipstick. With this particular Milani Lipstick you can leave your hair open and go out and party in all that stormy winds ;) Lasting power of this product is amazing, on me it lasts for a very good 5 hours with all those occasional munching of mine. Talking about the scent, which I don't find many people a fan of, Fruit Punch actually smells like a fruit punch, it has a sweet and fruity smell that lasts for a while after application, so if you're not into scented products you might not like it. My over all experience with this shade is great, I plan to get an orange shade from this range as well.

Amazing Factors:

Not So Amazing factors:

• I actually quite love this product and finding a flaw in it was a difficult task ;) but some of you may find the fruity scent a little too overwhelming.

New prices are 650 rupees, which still is very reasonable considering the quality of this product.
