Sweet Touch Nail paints drag me back to my childhood – where the only makeup I was allowed to use and collect was nail paints and I was quite fond of them. Sweet Touch and Medora were two brands that were quite easy on pocket and had tons of colourful options available in the market. Gradually, my love for nail paints kind of faded away but still I kept picking up one shade or two from these two amazing nail paint brands, sometimes just to follow a trend and sometimes just to go well with an outfit. They’re the best option to get if you hardly use nail paints but want something good for a special event, since you won’t be ruining hundreds of bucks on something that will eventually collect dust after a few uses.
Other than their magnetic nail paints, Sweet Touch has two different collections of their nail paints. According to my observation, Sweet Touch Fashion nail colours are mostly consist of yellows, lemons, greens, blues, turquoises, berries and fuchsias with neon, matte, chrome, crème and satin finishes. Their High Gloss Nail Colors are mostly golds, reds, purples, pinks, browns, creams, and corals with glossy, pearly, shimmery, and frosty finishes.
I got two new shades to try from Sweet Touch England. 113 Teal; from their Fashion Nail Color collection and 1030 Sweet Kiss from their High Gloss Nail Color collection. 113 Teal, quite true to its name is a vibrant teal colour whereas 1030 Sweet Kiss is a soft dusty rose shade that can also be described as a pink based nude.
Unlike the magnetic nail paint, the formula of both these nail colours is quite runny hence take little time to dry on your nails. Both shades get opaque in two to three shades. I have applied three shades in the pictures you see of swatches. On my nails, both nail colours dried to a crème finish – smooth and glossy. I’m someone, who wear nail paints occasionally only for a couple of hours but to test their longevity I left them on for a couple of days. The nail paint started wearing off from the tips of my nails the third day. I’m assuming wearing a base coat underneath and a top coat on the top will definitely enhance the wear time.
Overall, I think for the price you pay, the formula and wear time both are pretty decent plus you get an array of colours to select your favourite shade. This is a thumbs up from my side.
Sweet Touch nail paints are available nationwide easily on almost all cosmetic stores. They retail for 160 rupees each. If you like to buy cosmetics online in Pakistan, these are available at Saloni. pk.

ReplyDeleteI really like the packaging. The brand is new to me but hearing that the formula is quite runny that would put me off as I have no patience for sitting and waiting for nails to dry! x
