How To: No Heat Beachy Waves!

Love those Messy Sexy Beachy Waves that some of the Victoria's Secrets Models flaunt? Keep on reading for a simple tutorial!

I'm blessed with straight and silky hair, and I love them! But my love for my natural hair couldn't stop me from envying all those girls, who have naturally wavy or curly hair, I absolutely adore loose curls and waves, I just find them very flattering on long hair. Since getting those wavy hair using heating tongs and rollers isn't a very healthy option for my hair, I tend to use this simple, old school way to achieve them. I tried putting up this simple tutorial for you all, I hope all of you or at least some of you find it helpful. By the way, these are my sister's hair you will see below, I still find it a bit difficult shooting myself for a tutorial. She has same hair as mine, straight & silky just more healthy!

Step 1:  Brush your hair! I love to use few drops of Vaseline Hair Tonic and Scalp Conditioner to get rid of any tangles, you can use any favourite product of yours.

Step 2: Divide your hair in sections, depending on the thickness of your hair. For me, three sections do it all. Braid all three sections of your hair and secure them with a hairband or something.

Now, grab your favourite book, get to the bed and read till you sleep.

Step 3: Next morning, open your braids, and use a wide tooth comb to brush your hair. Be gentle, you don't want to loose all those waves that you created overnight. Your hair would look something similar to the above photograph (number 3).

Step 4: Grab your favourite sea salt spray bottle and spray it all over your hair. I have used Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray, and Oh Boy, for this type of styling, this spray is a total hit for me! While your hair are still damp with the spray, scrunch them.

Voila! You're done. Easy peasy, but totally worth it!

Now either leave your hair open, lightly tie them in a fancy clip/catcher or go with a high pony tail! Your hair will look nothing but gorgeous!

Much Love,
