Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Review & Swatches

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart is by far the most pigmented, opaque and long lasting pink lip colour in my collection. The colour stays on my lips for hours and hours until I finally remove it myself with an oil based remover or baby oil.

Review

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains have been in the market for a while now, I got one myself months ago and fell in love with it after the very first try. The shade I have got for me is Sweetheart, which is supposed to be a medium pink but on my lips translates as a bright, vibrant juicy almost neon pink.

I don't have the most driest lips in the world but I still like to prepare my lips prior to applying any lipstick with a moisturizing lip balm, but with this Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain, I easily skip that additional step. This chubby two-in-one stick, moisturize my lips well enough, doesn't accentuate my lip lines and leaves a very long lasting stain behind once the initial glossiness of the product wears off.

Let's have a detailed analysis/breakdown of the longevity of this product. On my lips, the glossiness of Revlon Balm Stain vanishes after the initial 2 hours, and during this time it transfers - let's say to the mug, if you're sipping your tea/coffee so try not to kiss anybody when your balm stain is freshly applied. Once the glossiness is vanished and you have the stain left on your lips, it's totally non-transferable and stays very opaque for a good five hours, after which it starts fading quickly but even after 9-10 hours, I could still notice a barely there kind of stain. So yes, it is very very long lasting.

Amazing Points
  • Comes with a fairly reasonable price tag for the performance.
  • Insanely long lasting, so if you hate frequent touching ups, this is the product for you.
  • Decently moisturizing.
  • The chubby crayon is retractable so you need not to worry about sharpening and stuff.

Not So Amazing Points

  • I really like to highlight all pros and cons but in this product, I really don't find any flaws.

Overall Ratings: 5/5

Revlon Balm Stains are now available easily in Pakistan. You can order yours from Just4Girls.pk or Beauty Arena. If you want to get these in even cheaper rates, I'll suggest checking Facebook based stores, like Shopaholic and Rouge.

Have you tried these balm stains by Revlon or the new Revlon Color Burst Matte Balms or the Lacquer ones? How was your experience with them? I ordered the matte one for me, cannot wait to get it! :)

Much Love,
