Life has been crazy busy – long working hours and hectic research kept me from posting anything on the blog for almost an entire month. I missed you guys. How have you all been? The beauty scene in Pakistan has been quite awesome in last couple of months. Just4Girls.pk – the beloved online beauty store of Pakistan has been on a roll and brought an array of our favourite drugstore brands in stock at very reasonable rates. The real highlight of past few weeks had to be the newly launched Massarat Misbah Makeup line that has been turning heads because of its awesome reviews and reasonable rates. I can’t wait for her to bring her makeup line in Faisalabad; I’m dying to get that foundation for myself. Did you manage to hoard/haul/try any of these new beauty products? I ordered a couple of things from Just4Girls.pk, will share them on my insta, join me and say hello! J
Now that we have covered the things that happened while I was away from blogging world, let’s talk about my monthly favourites. Here are 6 things I have been reaching for daily the past entire month:
Eyova Hair Nutrient Egg Oil:
I’m always a bit reluctant in accepting PR samples from outside the country for two reasons; either they get lost in transits or I have to pay heavy custom charges on very tiny packages – sometimes more than the original price of the products. So when Eyova contacted me, I declined the offer but when I got asked again, I said okay, let’s try it. This was the time when my hairs were acting insanely crazy. I had damaged, dry and brittle hair due to lack of TLC and boy did it take care of it or did it take care of it! It infused a new life to my hair, I have been using it continually for last two months and love it. More on it on the review iA.
Clean & Clear Essential Moisturizer:
I wasn’t expecting much from this teeny tiny bottle of moisturizer at all. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t have bothered paying any attention to it had it not been for an angel at the Pakistani Beauty Blogging Community Group who spoke very highly of it for girls with oily skin. This is magic in a bottle – gets absorbed into the skin in no time and doesn’t turn my skin to a grease ball. I’m extremely pleased.
Stiefel’s SunBlock 60 Cream:
I have always had a good luck with Stiefel’s products. Last year, I wanted something beyond awesome for my oily skin since most of the sun blocks and sun screens make my skin more oily so I entered one of the pharmacies randomly and asked them to show me the entire range of sun protection products from Stiefel. Out of all products, this one looked like a good option for me and since then, it has been a staple in my daily routine. I shall provide more details in a proper complete review soon iA.
Luscious Cosmetic’s Bold Smudge proof Intense Eyeliner:
This is some seriously good stuff. Lasts perfectly well on my oily lids for a very long time. No smudging, no budging. Totally recommend it.
Beauty UK Simply Define Brow Pencil:
My eye makeup is never complete without defining my brows and this one does a pretty decent job in taking care of those. The texture of Beauty UK Simply Define Eyebrow Pencil is creamy and colour matches my natural brow shade so well.
Beauty UK Lipstick in In the Buff:
I love my bolds but I like keeping things subtle during my work hours. Beauty UK Lipstick “In the Buff” is a perfect medium pink with a matte finish. I have been wearing it quite regularly these days.
